A small unfurnished office (under 500 square feet) will probably cost
$300.00-$600.00 per month. In our example we are using $400.00 per
month.
First month’s rent & security $800.00
Desks, chairs, computer, fax machine $2,000.00 (very conservative
number.)
Phone company installation fee $180.00
Basic telephone system (very basic) $300.00
Total start up cost $3,280.00
Monthly expenses:
Rent $400.00
Phone bill $200.00
Staff $1,720.00 (one full time receptionist @ $9.00/hr.)
Total monthly cost $2,320.00
Total annual cost $27,840.00
